Development of the next generation of data center professionals is critical in ensuring the continued success of the industry and in supporting the role of data centers in society, business, and government.
There is a significant need for new talent in the data center industry. This talent shortage is expected grow substantially over the next decade. In order to help meet this need the chapter will award its first ever scholarships to two students at Shoreline Community College.
The Scholarship Program is a new initiative for the chapter. The initial launch is being made in conjunction with the Shoreline Community College Foundation (a 501c3). As the program develops we expect to increase the number of scholarships available each year as well as the number of institutions we support. If you would like to assist in this effort please contact us.
The committee needs volunteers to help evaluate scholarship applications. If you are interested in helping in this area please contact us.
